Cooper Medical of Rowan University and TMJF JUMP High for Students and Families to Gain Financial Literacy

We are beyond excited to announce a powerful new collaboration that’s set to make a lasting impact in Camden! Cooper Medical School of Rowan University (CMSRU) has partnered with The Malcolm Jenkins Foundation (TMJF) and Money Vehicle LLC to bring the "Closing the Wealth Gap" financial literacy program to high school students in CMSRU’s Junior Urban Medical Pioneers High School Academy (JUMP High). This unique partnership is designed to provide 15 JUMP High seniors and their parents with the essential financial skills needed to build wealth and create a secure future.

JUMP High, which already focuses on mentoring and exposing students to careers in healthcare, is expanding its reach by offering this crucial financial literacy course. Through this collaboration, students will dive into topics such as earning income, understanding credit, planning for the future, and investing—skills that will serve them for a lifetime!

What makes this program even more special is that CMSRU medical students will take the lead as instructors, guiding students and their parents through the curriculum, enhancing their own financial literacy and leadership skills in the process.

We are so excited to see this collaboration with JUMP High help Camden students and their families take control of their financial futures!
