2019 PROJECT R.E.W.A.R.D.S. SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION IS NOW CLOSED

Program Overview

  • The program is opened to graduating high school seniors currently enrolled in the College Track New Orleans program.

  • Scholars who meet the criteria are eligible for consideration for a $1,000.00 (minimum value) scholarship award. 

  • Scholarships are awarded in the following categories: Most Improved, High Academic Achievement, and Overcoming Adversity.

ELIGIBILITY

  • Graduating High School Seniors currently enrolled in College Track New Orleans

  • Attend the College and Career Network & Chill event on April 9 & 10, 2019

  • Complete at least 100 hours of community service

  • Have at least 80% attendance to your senior college advising workshops

  • Complete high school successfully with a minimum 2.75 cumulative Grade Point Average (B-) (on a 4.0 scale)

  • Demonstrate a history of commitment to their community through leadership activities, community service and/or work experience

  • Be accepted to a four-year college or university as a full-time, first-year student

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Completed application form

  • Official high school transcript

  • Two letters of recommendation from a guidance counselor, teacher, clergy, employer or other community member

  • Complete and have parent/guardian sign Consent & Release Form

  • A 400-650 word essay about yourself and the scholarship category that best describes you and the work you have done this year

  • Proof of acceptance to an accredited 4-year college or university
